Policy performance optimization
The BIRD Team knows the filter engine deeply and may help you assess what is causing your route updates to propagate slowly. We may even run our route server testing rig with your specific filters to get detailed statistics.

We are running various CI automatic tests. To ensure smooth upgrading, the BIRD Team may replicate your configuration locally and avoid most of possible problems.

Our testing rigs are capable of simulating large or demanding networks. We may run tests with your configuration scaled up to your actual plans or limits.

Guaranteed response time
By default, our response time is next business day in Czechia. We do not guarantee resolution times for any ticket. It is possible, for a surcharge, to shorten the response time and agree on resolution times.

There are various possible SLA frameworks available, often in conjunction with shortened response times or individually quoted ticket resolution times. Ask the Sales department for more information.

Fixed stable version maintenance
By default, the BIRD team releases an LTS version roughly aligned with Debian Stable. This version is supported for at least two years. For any reason, you may need a stable version with a fixed set of features where only bugfixes are included for a longer time period.

Looking glass integration
BIRD is not running in vacuum. A common integration is a looking glass, a web app allowing external users to inspect routes inside the router (route server). If you need to deploy a looking glass or integrate any other tooling, we are available to help you.

Training
Well-trained operators run your network smoothly. The BIRD Team offers trainings in various topics, ranging from routing basics to BGP or OSPF expert courses. We may teach you how to configure BIRD, how to fine-tune performance or even how to write your own extension.

The BIRD Team may travel to your destination and help you locally. This may include debugging problems, supervising deployments, teaching and training or even just having a talk at some meeting.
